Nbw Zealand Hep.ald Office, Friday evening. Musses. Samuel Vaile and Soks offered by auction to-day a number of allotments in the city and suburbs, but tile majority were pessed in. An allotment 50ft frontage to the Mount Roskill Road, by a depth of 132 ft, realised £25, and an adjoining allotment of the same dimensions brought £22 10b. Mr. J. Thornes offered by auction a number of city and suburban properties to-day, at which there was a large attendance. An allotment 60ft frontage to Eden Vale Road, Mount Eden, with a depth of 120 ft, and t<n eight-roomed residence thereon, was sold for £400. A warehouse in Victoria-street East was passed in at £2000; and a residence of lb rooms, known as " btonehurst," in Symonds-street, was also passed! in at £1135. Messrs. Warren Blyth and Co. sold by auction to-day a homestead and farm of 110 acres at Mahurangi for £132. AUCKLAND PRODUCE MARKETS. The pioduce markets have been fairly brisk during the past week, and stocks have not been beyond requirements. Grain generally is firmer. New potatoes are coming to hand freely and selling at reduced rates. Vegetables were in fair supnl*-. Poultry though was still scarce, and prices ruled high. Butter and eggs wore weaker, and bacon and hams are unchanged. The fruit market has been bare, and good prices were realised throughout. Young pigs continue to sell well. The following is a summary of the results obtained at the auction sales yesterday: — Field Produce: Wheat, fowl, 2s 8d bushel; oats, feed, 2s 3d; maize, 2s 9d to 3s; carrots, white, £1 ton.
