Yesterday the Coastal Company's steamer Kapanui was floated into the Auckland Dock for cleaning and painting. Mr. W. H. Brown lias a number of workmen employed fixing up tho Harbour Eoard's magazine hull: Cloud, in the Auckland Dock. Last evening the barque Kathleen Hilda left for the Thames to load timber at Kopu for Melbourne. The auxiliary schooner Aotea leaves to-day for coast ports and Gisborne. Last night the Northern Company's steamer Muritai left for Kennedy's Bay, Kuaotunu, and Mercury Bay. The Northern Company's steamer Ohineniuvi left for Whangapoua last night. Yesterday morning tile Kauri Timber Company's brigantine Aratapu sailed for Melbourne with a cargo of timber. Captain D. f-iiaiv has recovered from his recent illness. and proceeds to Wellington on Monday to join the Linda Weber. . Tho Union Company's steamer Pukaki leit Timaru for Auckland on Thursday night, and iB expected to arrive to-morrow. ... The Union Company's steamer Taviuni is due from Fiji on Thursday next, and the Rotokino on Saturday next. THE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL. The American mail steamer Mariposa, baving left San Francisco one day after contract (late, is not expected to reach this poi'o until Wednesday morning next. THE TAIERI. The Union Company's steamer Taieri, from Westport to Auckland, passed Russell at 4.30 15 m -esterdav. and should arrive early this morning. She leaves for Westport again on Wednesday next. THE WAIHORA. The Union Company's steamer Waihora leaves Gishorne for Auckland to-day, and is expected to arrive to-morrow morning, bile proceeds on to Sydney at 5 p.m. on Monday. THE TALUNE. The Union Company's steamer Taiune is expected to arrive from Sydney late to-mor-row night, or earlv on Monday morning. She leaves for East Coast and Southern ports on Tuesday afternoon, and on reaching Dunedin will resumo her running in the Cook StraitSydney trade. THE STANLEY. The Northern Company's steamer Muritai, which left for Mercury Bay last night, is to proceed on to the Red Mercury to-day, and make an attempt to tow the brigantine Stanley off tho rocks where she is stranded. The 8.8. Akaroa also left for the scene of the wreck last night. THE KUMAItA. Messrs. T. and S. Morrin (Limited), the local agents inform us that the Auckland passengers and cargo per the Shaw, Savili, and Albion Company's steamer Kumara, which arrived at Wellington from London on Thursday, will arrive by the Wanhora tomorrow.
