A BUILDING BURNED.

[nv TELEGRAPH. rRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday. A SIX-ROOM house at Khandaltah, owned and occupied by George Searle, was destroyed by tire to-day, The building was insured for £300 in the Manchester office, but the loss is estimated at £100 above that! Mr. Searle was burning shavings in one of the rooms, and the flames spread to the walls. Little water being available the place was burnt out in less than half-an-hour.
