NEW SOUTH WALES AND THE FRISCO SERVICE.
The Mayor (Mr. D. Goldie) has cabled to Mr. J. H. Withcford, who is at present in Sydney, requesting him to interview tho Post-master-Ceneral of New South Wales with tho new of the support of the Xow South Wales hovemment being secured in the effort to prevent any interference with Auckland as the port of call for tho San Francisco mail service.
