CALLIOPE DOCK,

ACCEPTANCE OF TENDERS. A CABLBOBAM was received at tho Harbour Board office on Saturday from Mr. J. M. Brigham, announcing that tho final agreement with tho Admiralty for tho subsidy enabling the Board to equip Calliope Dock tad been signed, and (hat the hulk of tho tenders for tho necessary machinery had been accepted. Tho cablegram was as follows : — Agreement signed. Forty-eight tenders accepted, aggregating £14,000. Three contracts to bo settled." With the acceptance of the remaining three tenders the object of Mr. Brigham's mission will have been accomplished, and it is probable that ho will leave London in about a week from now. Mr. Brigham will return from London via Sydney, and will probably take tho opportunity of laying Iho wholo schemo for Calliope Dock before Admiral Pearson.
