Tho sectary of the Amateur Athletic Union has informed tlio secretary of the Queensland Association that the New Zealand, Victoria, and New South Wales Associations have decided, by a mail vote, that they cannot accept the dates of the Brisbane championship's meeting chosen by Queensland, and suggesting that August 5 should be devoted to the programme of local events, and the 12th and the preceding Thursday, or following Monday, to the championship events. FORGED MINING SHARES. Adelaide, May 5. A discovery has been made that 17,000 shares in the Imperial Boulder Gold Mining Company have been forged.
