Oats: Values have gone steadily down, and to-day the best price obtainable is Is 4Jd (sacks in, f.o.b. Bluff). For I! grade, local merchants have given farmers from Is OJd to Is lid (sacks extra at up-country stations), these prices being very full value, when compared with f.o.b prices obtainable fm orders from oversea, and unless values improve in the outside markets, it is evident that prices ruling locally must come down. Supplies from the country are less than expected, owing, probably, to many having decided to keep oats in stack in preference «o selling at the prices now ruling. The low value lias already induced speculators to try the London market, and shipment* have been made by the Indramayo and Morayshire. Wheat: Rood milling is worth from 2s 2d to 2s 3d (sacks extra Rt up-country stations). Ryegrass: Farmers' parcels find ready sal; at Is to Is 3d (sacks extra). There is no outside demand. Barley: (rood malting samples are salable at 3s to 3s 3d to local browers. The j outside demand is poo.. i
