SOUTH AUSTRALIAN LOAN.
By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright London, January 24. The South Australian Government three per cent, million and a-half loan has been placed on the London market. The minimum is fixed at 94£. Tenders will be opened on the 31st inst.
London, January 25.
The South Australian loan has been favourably received, and is now quoted at jto 1 per cent, premium. The payment of the first half-year's interest has been fixed for July 1.
Adelaide, January 25.
Tenders for the South Australian Loan will be accepted by the Bank of Adelaide, as well as in Lontl m. This will give local investors an tqual opportunity. £1,080,000 will be used for conversion purposes, and the balance for public works.
