Otago has been reconstituted a singlo military district, including the former subdistricts of North Otago and Southland Lieutenant-Colonel Webb has beon appointed to the command of the district) with Major Headland commanding North Otago, and Captain Hawkens Southland. ,The appointment of Major Banks to the command of the Auckland district is also gazetted.
