' The Northern Company s steamer Kotomahana is in the Auckland Dock for cleaning and painting and to have a new tail shaft fitted. On Monday the auxiliary schooner Medora arrived at Awanui from this port after a very rough passage. She leaves tor Auckland today. . The schooner Waiapu_ arrived at WnaDgarei an Monday evening from Gisborne, having left that port on Saturday evening, and met with light easterly wiuds on the run up. The schooner loads coal for Gisborne. ■ Yesterday the Tyser liner Star of New Zealand left Wellington for Gisborne. The Union Company's steamer Taviuni leaves for Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, and Sydney this evening. The barque Casa Blanca has nearly completed her loading of wool for London.
