ACCIDENTS AT WAYBY.
A very nasty accident happened & few days ago to Mr. Thomas White, ' It appears that) he had just) arrived home, when his horse stumbled and (ell with him, and while he was endeavouring to free .himself from the horse, it plunged about to get to its feet again, bruising Mr, White very severely. Dr. Shoesmith was seep at once, and ordered Mr. White to lie up foe a month, and to keep himself vary quiet. i i • Itisonlyaboutthreoweeksagothatanother rather serious accident happened to George Qreay, the youngest son ot Mr, Charles Greay, who resides near Wayby. , It appears that he and bis father were stumping a portion of his ground to net the plough to work. His son got rather close to his father while chopping, and the ate struck between the forefinger and thumb, , very nearly severing the thumb from the i hand, He was at pnoe taken to Dr. Shoes mi th,. who dressed the wounded hand.— Correspondent.] ____________^ 1 '
