[FROM ODR OW.V CORRESPONDENT.] Cambridge, Friday, The meeting of the Cambridge Chrysanthjv mum Society was held on Wednesday ever? ing, in the Council Chambers. The president) (Mr. T. Wells) read the report for the past year. The committee of the local society congratulate members on the success of the past year's work, the past season being notable for good new varieties, the most noticeable of those shown at Cambridge being Madame Carnot, Mons. Panckouke, Prefect Robert, Duchess of York, Mrs. T. H. Horton, Eva Knowles, J. H. Runchman, Philadelphia, and Mrs. E. L. Trafford. The treasurer (Mr. W. F. Buckland) submitted a balance-sheet, showing receipts to have beeu £102 3s tid, and expenditure £86 10s 9d, leaving a balance in hand of £15 12s 9d. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Mr. Wells was re-elected president, Mr. W. F. Buckland treasurer, and Mr. M. McDermott secretary. Messrs. Wells, Buckland, and Hartly were also re-elected committeemen. Votes of thanks to the committee, the donors of special prizes, and all who had contributed to the success of the show, were passed'. After the presentation of prizes, certificates. medals, etc., won at the late show, refresh meats were handed round.
