CHARGE OF ABDUCTION.

[BY TELEGRAPH.— correspondent.] Thames, Monday. At the Police Court, today, a young man named Joseph Letzloffe was charged with having, on or about the 11th of February last, at Papakura, abducted one Agues Hayter, an unmarried girl under the age' of 16 years, from the custody of her guardian without consent. Upon the application of Sergeant Gillies, who stated that accused and the girl had been living together as man and wife in Anderson's bush, Hikutaia, accused was remanded to the 11th instant, and is to be sent to Mount Eden Gaol in the meantime.
