PROPOSED WOOLLEN MILLS.
[nV TKLKORAPH.—PKRBS ASSOCIATION.] Ikveroaboill, Thursday. A meeting convened by the Mayor at the request of several business men was held to-night to diecuee the question of starting woollen mills in the vicinity of Invercargill. The project was favourably received and a committee appointed to collect information bearing on the subject. Mr. Kelly, M.H.H., suggested that the order of reference might be widened to permit of the committee making enquiries re a linen factory. _____________
