Wellington, Thursday. Tin; annual meeting of the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society wue held at Melbourne, yesterday. The directors' report shows highly satisfactory results for the past year, and indications of continued prosperity. Tho office, during the year, issiiod 2(WO polices, assuring £765,000, boiilg an increase £50,000 over last year. The total funds now exceed £2,000,000.
