NUISANCE IN WELLESLEY-STREET.

TO THE EDITOR. Sib,—Yeatesday the stench in WeLlesleystreet, just in front of the schools, was something fearful. It was of the worst description, evidently issuing from some underground sewer. The smell of an open sewer, would be sweet by comparison, and it was not merely temporary, as I noticed it each time I passed. Unless the City Council pul this drain ri?ht forthwith the list of'casei of "filth disease " you published yesterday will, I should say, be very largely added to. chiefly by children attending the school.—]
