Our Opotiki correspondent telegraphs: —The sixth annual show under the auspices of the local Agricultural and Pastoral Association takes place on Friday next,'and promises to be equal to those of previous yoars. Our staple produce, maize, will be seen to full advantage, as the present crop is highly promising. An excursion per s.a. Waiotahi to White Wand has been arranged for the day following che show. The following gentlemen will officiate as judges of the principal classes:—Messrs. W, Crowtlier and J. Bollard, M.H.R.'s., C. T. Wren, Auckland, and Jas. Mclntyre, Onehunga, A large number of visitors is expected, including the Eon. IV. Kelly, Mr. W. H. Hemes, and others. Tbe annual dinner tnkes place ao the Masonic Hotel on Friday evening. Intending excursionists leave Auckland on Tuesday, March 2, by the s.s. Waiotahi.
