Porta, the Italian cyclist, the following were the results of the chief races Two Mile Handicap : Harris 1, Parsons 2, Greenwood 3. Won by a wheel. Time, 4m. 22 3 ss. McLean fell in the race and interfered with Parsons. Half-mile Scratch: Harris 1, Parsons 2, Porta 3. Won by half a wheel. Time, lm. 14 4-53. In the Parsons and Porta matches the half-mile was won by Parsons by half a fjheai. Time, lm. 18 2-5?. The Mile Race was won by Porta by a few Inches in 2m. 2s. In the Two Milo Race Parsons won easily in 4m. 36 2 ss. Don Walker gave a quarter-mile exhibition in which he beat Zimmerman's record of 30 4-5s by 2 3-ss. Adelaide. April 5. At the Cycling Carnival Martin, the American, won tho one and a-half mile firstclass race, and fell in two others. All the other competitors were local men.
