Blenheim, Thursday. SECOND DAY.

The weather though threatening was fine for the second day of the Marlborough Racing Club's Meetiug. The attendance, though not so large as yesterday, was good. £3151 went through the totalisator for tho two days. The following are the results

Handicap Hurdles of 25sovs. Ono milo and a-half—Tippler, !>stl lb, 1; Scraniron, lOst 81b, 2; The Ace, list, 3. Won by a length. Time, 2m. 555. Dividend, £3 4s.

Farmers' Plate Handicap of 20sovs. Six fur. longs.-Mr. 11. Satherley's Singsong, lOst 131b, 1; Cripple, Os* 1211), 2; Gulden Plume, lUst 131b, 3. Won by a clear length. Time, I in. 21 Js A protest was entered by the owner of Moidoto on tho ground hat the distance was not run, some of the horses starting in front of the post. Moidore was left at tho post. The protest was uphold and the rare ordered to bo run again. The stewards decided that the totalisator .should lit closed and opened ajtain, on the second attempt to be treated as a distinct race, the money on each race to bo paid out on the winner of the final event and the m ney invested oil any horse scratched on the second attempt to be refunded. Dividend, £1 17s. Also started: I.ucretia, Morrie King, Annie Rooney, Moidore, Aknni Charlie.

President's Handicap of liteovs. One mile and a quarter.-Sea Serpent, 9st 61b, 1 ; Review, 3-it 31b, 2; King's Own, Sst 1111), 3. Also started : Princess. Won by a nose amid cries of "dead boat," Time, 2m. 16s. Dividend, £3 15s.

Farmers' Plate (second race).— Singsong, lost 13lb, 1; Cripple, Ost 121b, 2: Golden Plume, lOst 131b, 3. In this attempt, Charlie, Annie Rooney, and Akuranga were scratched.
