Frits Association.—Electric Telegraph.—Copy llavannah, February 3. • Maceo Gomez, the rebel leader, entrapped General Canella's army, 140 of whom were killed, and nothing but the timely arrival of reinforcements pre* vented a general massacre. Madrid, February 4. Marshal Campos states that Cuba is unable to meet the expenses of Govern' ment, which amount to three hundred million pesetas yearly. The resources of the Island are exhausted.
