The Auckland Naval Artillery commenced thoir volley and independent firing at the Mount) Eden-Rifle Range on Wednesday, but did not complote ib on that occasion, and t.hoso who were nob then present mustered at tho range at five o'clock on Saturday morning, under the command of Lieutonanl-Commander Little, and completed this portion of the duties proscribed by tho regulations. Subsequently the Ponjonby Mavals attonded at the range for volley and independent firing, under the command of Lieutenant • Commander Graham, and the shooting, we aro informed, shows a very fair average.
