FRENCH TAXATION.
A GRADUATED IMPOST. Press Association.— Telegraph.—Copyright. Paris, January 31. The Premier has announced the introduction of a graduated income tax. Above fifty thousand francs (£2000), the rate will be 5 per cent. The new impost is expected to yield six millions sterling.
