THE ABYSSINIAN WAR
CESSATION OF HOSTILITIES DEMANDED. Press Association.Electric Telegraph,— Rome, January 31. The Opposition demand that both Chambers be convened to authorise the cessation of the Abyssinian War, which has been conducted in defiance of the wish of Parliament, to serve private interests. The news of the arrival of General Galliano's forces at General Baratieri's camp was received here with rejoicing, cheers being given for the King and the Array.
