Special-Constable Thompson, of Porb Alborb, telegraphs to Inspector Hiokson that he had received information on Saturday, thab the Wayby Post Office had been burned down on Friday night. The outgoing mails, etc., had been destroyed. THE CHRISTCHURCII SEAT. [by telegraph,—press association.) Wellington, Sunday. The writ for the Christchurch seab was issued on Friday, and ib is expected that the election will take place next Thursday week, February 13. The nominations are fixed for February 5,
