LONDON FINANCIERS STAND ALOOF. Priss Association.— Telegraph.— New York, January 1. The Morgan Syndicate has offered to supply 5,000,0000z of gold at the option of the Government in exchange for four per cent, bonds. The commission charges are believed to be one per cent. The Rothschilds refused to assist, and it is improbable that any money will be offered by London financiers. The New York Exchange has greatly improved, owing to the issue of bonds.. It is stated that 150,000,000 dollars havo been subscribed already.
