The Times, referring to the Chambers of Commerco deputation, urges the Premier to assist the Pacific proposals of Messrs. Hud dart, and urges an Imperial expenditure of £100,000 per annum on Pacific steamers and cable, which would be amply repaid by improved communication, and would strengthen the attachment of the colonies and develope British influence in the Pacific.
