DOMAIN BOARDS.

A meeting of She Kopn/ru Domain Board was held on January 9th, after the County Council meeting. Present: A. E. Harding, P. Dargaville, 11. Slade, and A. Spiers. Mr. M. Cobbold was re-elected chairman. Glinck's acoountfor £lfor repairing the road to the coast down Glinck's Gully, was passed. The Board then resolved itself into the Kopuru Town Domain Board. Air. M. Cobbokt was again elected chairman. The Board resolved itself into the Aratapu Domain Board. Mr. M. Cobbold was elected chairman of this also. This Board has under its charge a section of 47 acres, situated near Aratapu. The county engineer has inspected it, and drawn up a plan of a part of it suitable for a. football ground. The section is well watered. In fact Aratapu has been partly supplied with water from it in dry seasons. In reply to the Board, Mr. J. Morgan wrote that the public at Aratapu have always had liberty to take water in dry weather from the pipe's leading on *« his land.— Kopuru Correspondent.l
