HALF-HOLIDAY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—As most work people spend their wages as soon as they receive them, it would be well if wages were paid on any other day than Saturday, say, in' the early parb of the week. The money would then be circulated more regularly through the week, and nob on one special day as at present. Payment on Saturday is only a habit, not a necessity.l am, etc., J.V\.
