INTERCOLONIAL CRICKET.
Press Association.— Telegraph.— Copyright. Adelaide, January 5. The, fifth intercolonial cricket match (South Australia v. New South Wales) began to day. The latter in their first innings scored 192— Garrett 48, Iredale 25, Donnan 24, Callaway 23, and Howell 24. George Giffen took eight wickets for 77, and Jones one for 53. South Australia has lost one wicket foe 6 runs.
