At the continuation of the inquiry into the charges brought by Mr. Charlton, the exGovernment veterinary surgeon, against Mr. Ritchie, head of the Agricultural Department, the former wished to withdraw the charges. The Commissioners, however, decided to go on with the inquiry, which will be resumed on Saturday, when Stock-Inspector Clifton, of Auckland, will be examined.
