The game on Saturday (says the Wellington Post of, the 3rd instant) for Captain Edwin's badges, between rinks from the Wellington and Thorndon Bowling Clubs, was one of the most evenly contested games seen here. The rinks were even right up to the last head, when the Wellington skipper scored a victory for his side and retained the badges. The teams were:—Wellington : Willeston, D. Nathan scored 23, as against the 22 of D. Ross's team.
