PETONE DRAINAGE POLL.
[BY TELEGRAPH.-— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. A poll was taken at Petone to-day on the question of raising a loan of £14,000 for drainage purposes. Two hundred and fifty eight voted for, and thirty-five against, but as the requisite half the poll was not obtained, the loan proposals are losb.
