With nine months of the financial year zone the Customs revenue of the colony is £21,709 over the Cobnial Treasurer's estimate for that period, ihe total amount collated to the end d last month being £1,236,709. Customs revenue hub month amounted to £130,553, as compared with £128,117 for the previous year and £143,336 for the correspondingxionth of the previous year. Auckland contributed £33,507 ; Wellington. £24,779;Christchurch,£20,622 Dunedin, £30,495. Che total amount of beer duty collected in ihe colony last month was £6812, Auckland contributing £1612; Wellington, £557; (hristciairch, £1202 ; and Dunedin, £1617. In the previous" month the sum of £377 i was collected, and in the corresponding nonth of the previous year £7196. For the past nine months of the financial year thi beer duty exceeds estimate by £'282.
