RAID ON SUSPECTED GAMING SHOPS.

[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday. Yesterday afternoon the police raided the premises of Patterson Brothers and Simmons', in Willis-street, and Wallace, in Manners-street, and, as the result of their investigations, the proprietors will be charged at the Police Court with keeping gaming shops. Very little cash was taken, but the books and papers were secured.
