[BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, Saturday." The body of a man about 60 years of ago was found at North Waimakariri, below high-water mark, yesterday. The hands and feet were tied with cord, and it is supposed that the deceased had jumped off the railway bridge, about 500 yards higher up the river. On his handkerchief was the name " E. M. Betts," and it is stated that a.solicitor of that name has been inquired for from Wanganui, and was recently seen in Christchurch.
