WEST AUSTRALIA.
Perth, August 30, Tim Budget estimates the revenue of Western Australia for the ensuing year at £589,000, and the expenditure at £049,000. A Bill will be introduced to authorise a loan of £540,000 to be devoted to the extension of telegraphs and railways, and the development of the goldfields. The prospects of the colony are regarded as bright.
