LONDON, July 18. The attendance at the cricket match at Lord's to-day was estimated at 16,000. The weather was splendid and the wicket was j in better order. Graham was at the wicket for two hours and twenty minutes. His score included one five, twelve fours, two threes, and nine twos. He received a great ovation on returning to the pavilion. The last three wickets only added four to the score. The fielding of the Lnglishmen was very lax. Gregory played a faultless-innings, and never pave a single chance during the two hours he was at the wickets. The partnership between Graham and Gregory added 142 runs in 100 minutes, and their display was received with great enthusiasm. Graham compiled a century in two hours. Stoddart frequently changed the bowling during Graham's term, and in one of Pee!'s overs the young Victorian made three boundary hits. His innings, however, was not without a measure of luck, for he was missed by Shrewsbury when his score stood at 57, and by MacGregor shortly afterwards. Trott scored steadily. Baunerman was out with a wonderful left-handed catch at point by Shrewsbury, who was slipping when he took the ball. MacLeod was dismissed by a splendid ball which sent the bails a distance of 40 yards.
