London, July 18. Miss Shaw-, travelling - correspondent of the Times, in reviewing the fourgreat strikes in Australia, emphasises the limitation of Unionism, and states that a prominent labour leader, speaking of the maritime strike, assured her that the day of strikes was over, and predicted their general decline.
The Times says experiments on a large scale in Australia towards the solution of the labour problem have done the world a great service.
