THE MIDLAND RAILWAY OF W. AUSTRALIA.
Prut Association.— Telegraph.—Copyright London, October 27. At a meeting of the ? Midland Railway Company of Western Australia, Mr. Smith, the chairman, complained of the Government refusing to deliver I rap land. Under the contract of December, 1891, the company were entitled • to 900,000 acres. He stated it was necessary to expend £300,000 to complete the line, and the company was determined to resist injustice. The prospects of traffic were cheerful, as the southern end already opened was paying. The report was adopted.
