SERIOUS ACCIDENT TO A BOY.

[bt TELKQRAFH.— OWN' CORRESPONDENT. Cambridge, Monday. A nasty accident happened to a little boy, named Bertie Reynolds, who is living with Mr. J. McMillan, this morning. It appears he was riding a young pony, when it threw him off in some way, inflicting a very deep cut from under one ear to just below the other, with the side of its shoe as it passed over him. The jaw-bone was left bare in one place, and the root of the tongue could be seen. If the cut had been an inch lower he must have bled to death. Dr. Waddington was called, and put seven stitches in the wound. The little fellow is progressing as favourably as possible.
