SILVER CONVENTION.
Press Association Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. London, May 13 France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Belgium will attend the proposed Silver Convention. London, May 14. In the House of Commons, to-day, Mr. Goschen, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, in replying to a question tabled by Mr. J. Allaston Picton, M.P. for Leicester, declined to make public the direction which the Government had given to its delegates to the Silver Conference with the United States.
