ASSESSMENT COURT.
RANG AH APE WARD. The Assessment Court continued its sittings yesterday, when objections to valuations in con lection with the Karangahape Ward assessments were considered and dealt with. Mr. 8. Y. Collins presided. Mr. Gulliver (the city valuer), and Mr. P. A. Philips (Town Clerk) were also present. The following objections were sent in .J. P. Shanaglian, Randolph-street, £14 to £12. Alfred Probert (Epiphany Sunday-school property), Nixon-street, £20: Mr. Lush, solicitor, who appeared, contended that the property was not rateable, as it was not used tor pecuniary gain This objection was overruled.
