[isv TELEGIiAI'U. — OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Thames, Thursday. At a meeting of the Thames Naval Artilleiy Volunteer company this evening, it was decided to contribute towards tho cost of sending a representative team of live men to he forthcoming annual meeting of the New Zealand Rifle Association at Wellington. The annual meeting of contributors to the Thames Hospital was held this evening, the Rev. Father O'Reilly presiding. The annual report stated that the receipts for the past year had been £1893 3s 9d and the expenditure £1598 18s, although the actual cost for maintenance of hospital had been £1325 9s 7d. The amount received from patients' charges had been £241 10s, which was about the same as the previous year, and the amount expended in medical comforts had only been £10 lis Od. During the year '200 patients had been received, being 156 males and 41 females, which was an excess of 38 on the previous year, whilst the number of out-patients treated had been 190 with 514 attendances. The num ber of deaths for the same period was 14. Messrs. G. S. Clark and Mulligan were reelected trustees unopposed.
