Gairloch, s.s., McArthur, from New Plyiv ■ mouth. Passengers : Mrs. Simmons, Messrs. Hawkins, Hamilton, Hart, Kisby, Slim, . Hutchison, and five steerage.—A. Barnes, agent. ' . . The Northern Co.'s s.s. Gairloch, arrived fcl from New Plymouth at 12.30 p.m. yesterday, 7 with a cargo of stock and sundries. / . - The Union S.S. Co.'s Mahinapua, Captain A. Kennedy, from Wellington, Nelson, and •'f - New Plymouth, arrived with passengers and cargo at Onehuugii at noon yesterday. The
purser, Mr. Modson, reports that she left Wellington at 8. p.m. on the 2l)th inst., arrived at Nelson at 8 a.m. on the Slat inst., and left again for Mew -Plymouth at 9 p.m. the same day. She arrived at New Plymouth at 11 a.m. on the 22nd iriat., and left tor Onehnnga at 11 p.m., crossed the bar at 10 a.m. on the 23rd inst., and arrived at the wharf as above. The steamer "experienced light N.W., winds as far as Turanalci, and from there to arrival fresh S.W. winds.
