A remarkable froak of nature has been brought to light in the Wairarapa district. A settlor in Mangamahoe has sent to Dr. Hosking a fully developed lamb which he discovered on his property. Ib is a veritable monstrosity. The body and legs are in themselves perfect, but the head is hardly recognisable as that of a sheep. In the centre of the forehead is one large and beautiful eye; Depending from the nose is a miniature trunk, like that of an elephant, whilst two large cars hang from tho lower part of the neck. Between the two ears is an orifice serving as a mouth, tho whole constituting one of the strangest looking creatures on earth.
