The order was made by consent. • THE ROBINSON CASE. \ [BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] V, • Dunedin, Wednesday. - J The case of the family of Robinson ; came ( before the Benevolence Trustees to-day. < Tho woman who hud been charged with ' larceny had asserted that She stole the ! articles to procure food for her children. ! The chairman mentioned that the family j had received some assistance some time * ago, and when she had approached him, he J had sent her to the secretary to get an t order for relief, but she never went. It ' was shown that both husband and wife were given to drink, and quarrelled and fought. j The woman's son, who was present, pleaded for one more chance. before the children ' were taken away, and said the matter had 1 been taken up by some outsiders, who were ! providing furniture, , food, and clothing. 1 The question was adjourned for two weeks 1 to see how they behaved. " Robinson asked ' that a ( prohibition order .be taken out ] against him, but he was recommended to 1 act like a man. ]
