DESTRUCTIVE FIRE AT KATIKATI.

Mr. Kelly's six-roomed house and furniture were completely burned to the ground on Thursday night last, May 28, not a vestige remaining of either house or furniture. The house was insured in tho Phoenix Insurance Company of London for £200, and the furniture in the same office for £50. Mr. Kelly was absent from home when the fire occurred, and the only occupant was a nephew of his, Mr. Sydney Irvine Walker, who * was in bed when the fire took place, and was awoke by the heat and smoke, but can give no reason whatsoever as to the origin of the fire.—[Own Correspondent.]
