MILITARY SPORTS AT WELLINGTON.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —.PRESS ASSOCIATION. 1 Wellington, Saturday.* Military sports were held hero to-day by the Heretaunga Light Horse at Newtown Park, and were attended by 1500 people. The artillery and light horse tied in sword exercise, and the City Rifles won the bayonet exercise. The jumping and rescue competitions were well contested. The musical ride and lance drill by the Light Horse were capitally executed.
