OPINIONS OP THE JUDGES. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Sunday. Tiik Government have received the written opinions of three Judges oub of five on Judge Edwards' case. The Chief Justice is also sending in his, while that ; of Judge Conolly has been telegraphed. Those written qualify their previous opinions expressed as to the technical bearings of Mr. Edwards' appointment, and two of these express a doubt, while the third i 3 very detet mined in his opposition to the legality of the appointment. Hone, except Judge Richmond, who in his first telegram said the appointment was unconstitutional without previous appropriation, have expressed an opinion on the constitutional bearings of the case, but have reserved their opinion on that point. Judge Richmond, however, does not appear to nave altered his opinion.
