Justin McCarthy, speaking at Liverpool, said it was necessary that the Irish Parliament should have control of the land and police. The Irish party was united on this question, and would soon present an unbroken front There are indications of an opposition "cave" being formed if the reported agreement with Parnell is confirmed.
